Collection: Aceitunero

A podium to praise our olives.

This piece is designed to elevate, accommodate and protect something that identifies us so much in Spain: the olive.

Each one has passed through my hands on the lathe, shaped into a complex torus form.
Technically, it’s crafted as a double-walled structure, where precision is key — especially with the air encapsulated inside. In just the right amount, that trapped air plays a vital role in achieving the perfect result.
This “donut” shape creates a hollow interior, accessed through two small openings. With them, I invite you to hide (or not) the olive pits.

Although ceramic is a rigid material, its padded appearance turns this piece into something both welcoming and protective.
The finish is left as natural as possible — a reminder of the soil where olives are born: fields that work from dawn to dusk to give us their fruit.

To elevate, to hold, to protect.

These pieces were created ad hoc for “Aceituna de carta”, an initiative by Interaceituna for Olives from Spain.

It has been a true pleasure to reflect, design and shape a piece inspired by something so everyday, yet so meaningful to me.
